LGBTQ+ Pride Month Activities

(0)
Hello fellow teachers! We hope you’re doing amazing! Pride Month has arrived and it’s time to bring acceptance, recognition, and love to our classrooms by learning about LGBTQ+ history, people, and impact, not just in this month, but every single day. More than ever we need to let our students be who they are, assuring them that our classrooms are safe learning environments and spaces for them. We’ve created these Pride Month activities to raise awareness about the importance of this month in order to help fight discrimination against LGBTQ+ people and recognize the impact that members of this community have had on history locally, nationally, and internationally. It is also important to mention that 100% of proceeds generated by this teaching resource will be donated to The Trevor Project, a nonprofit organization focused on suicide prevention and crisis intervention efforts for LGBTQ+ young people. So be assured that the entirety of your purchase will be helping a young person that might be struggling at this moment. If you want to donate, learn more about their cause, or explore resources, make sure to visit their website: www.thetrevorproject.org.
